Friends of the Elgin Public Library

The Friends of the Elgin Public Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support the library. The Friends buy almost all of the books and other materials in the library. The Friends meet every other month on the 3rd Saturday at 10:00 a.m.. in the library. Members plan and inplement fundraisers throughout the year such as their large used Book Sale in April, the Cookie and Candy Extravaganza in December, and the Bake and Harvest Sale in October.
