Friends of the Elgin Public Library
The Friends of the Elgin Public Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support the library. The Friends buy almost all of the books and other materials in the library. The Friends meet every other month on the 3rd Thursday at 4:15 p.m. in the library. Members plan and inplement fundraisers throughout the year such as their large used Book Sale in February, the Cookie and Candy Extravaganza in December, and the Bake and Harvest Sale in October.
Want to become a Friend? Just call Lisa at 426-5313 or President, Carol Katsumes at 563-380-9999 for more information. The library appreciates your help!
