Library Director

Lisa has been director at Elgin since December 2005.  She has been a high school English teacher, a Sylvan Learning Center Director of Education, a private tutor, and a stay-at-home mom.  She has a B.A. from Iowa State University in journalism and mass communication, and is an enthusiastic Cyclone fan.  Lisa is a member of the Friends of the Library and Valley Book Club. She is also a John C. Maxwell certified leadership trainer, coach, and public speaker and is the founder of Read to Lead LLC.
