New audio book titles are just a click away!

Here's how:

1.  Click here to enter the NEIBORS site.

2.  Click the sign in tab at the top of the page.

3.  Find Elgin Library under the alphabetical library tab.

4.  Enter your patron number from your library card.  If you don't know your number, simply call or email Lisa or Kris at the library.

5.  Download the free software by clicking on "Quick Start Guide" or the "Guided Tour" on the far left of the home page.

6. Browse for titles, put up to two at a time in your cart, hit check out, and you're ready to download to your computer. 

Check out time is 14 days, at which time the file will expire and return to the collection.  You can download the entire book, or in parts.  The files can be transferred from your computer to your MP3 player, or in some cases, burned to CD.

Please note that at this time, NEIBORS audio titles are not iPod compatible.  Another MP3 device will have to be used if transferring from the computer.
