More than just a place where people live, Elgin is a unique and vibrant small town. Our community is home to about 675 people. About 100 of these support the library by being a Friends of the Library member. Many others support the library by being loyal patrons, contributing donations of time or money, and helping with community projects. Elgin is also home to the Valley School District, Gilbertson Nature Area, an active historical society, and many other civic groups and organizations that bring together its people.
We are proud to call Elgin our home.
